Laura Miltenberger is a Regional Facilitator Director for the SWIFT (School-wide Integrated Framework for Transformation) Education Center at the University of Kansas. She has been engaged in the SWIFT Center work since its July 2013 launch in Washington D. C. Before transitioning to her role as Technical Assistance Facilitator, Laura was a LEA Coordinator for an Oregon partner district. Laura currently supports school, district and state teams in Oregon and California with their school transformation efforts. Prior to her current position, Laura worked in the Oregon public education system for thirty four years as a classroom teacher, elementary building principal and Director of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment. Laura resides in the greater Portland, Oregon metro area.
